WORKS

The Dragon and the Emerald Archipelago
Illustrated Children’s Book

This book is an exploration on how visual storytelling can help enhance understanding and awareness on the culture of Chinese-Indonesians. It was mainly aimed for younger children, engaging them with vibrant colours and a cute art style, though the content is more informative rather then the traditional fiction story.

This Page is Not Empty
Exhibition
16 - 18th May, 2025
Nightinggale Wurru Wurru

This Page is Not Empty was an exhibition on the history of independent publishing in Naarm (Melbourne). It explores the power of absence and presence in art and design, inviting viewers to consider how negative space, silence, and minimalism can communicate meaning, evoke emotion, and challenge traditional expectations. Through a curated selection of works, the exhibition highlights how emptiness itself can be a dynamic, expressive element that shapes perception and storytelling.

Anthology of Silence
Publication
In collaboration with Maria Povadora & Julia Zhao

As a part of This Page is Not Empty exhibition, this publication is a collection of poems by underrepresented voices, writers who were often silenced or erased. Through design elements like blackout overlays and translucent pages, the book mimics the structural silences faced by marginalized communities. Making the reading process as an act of uncovering and revealing. It’s both a poetic object and a quiet protest, trying to convey that absence often signals exclusion, not emptiness.

OSSOTYPETypeface

OSSOTYPE is an experimental typeface that draws inspiration from the human body, aiming to translate the fluidity and structure of the human body into a typeface. Using digital tools such as Nomad Sculpt and Pose It, the main focus was on realistic human movement and natural positioning to develop the forms. The final outcome is a fully 3D-rendered typeface with enhanced character and depth, using varying shades of white and gray to add subtle dimensionality and ensure it remains visually engaging even at smaller scales.

Monster in my Galaxy
Illustrated Children’s Book
Story written in collaboration with Celine Thang & Jeslyn Antonia

This book explores adventure, friendship, and the wonders of space, taking young readers on a journey through fantastical galaxies where unexpected friendships blossom and challenges become discoveries. The story has been carefully refined and fully illustrated to create an immersive and engaging experience, encouraging children to embrace curiosity, imagination, and the power of friendship in overcoming obstacles. It reminds young minds that friendships can grow in the most unexpected places, inspiring them to see the universe through a lens of wonder and kindness.

PARS Wonderland
Brand Campaign
Proposed to FINNA Food

In collaboration with FINNA, an Indonesian food company specializing in crackers, we developed a year-long promotional plan for their new ready-to-eat snack, PARS, using event-based campaigns tied to major Indonesian holidays to build brand awareness. While the project was a group effort, I led key areas including concept and design of Christmas promotional materials aligned with the brand’s  identity, planned  holiday events to highlight the product’s convenience and festive appeal, and created social media content to support the campaigns while maintaining a consistent brand voice throughout the year.

Garlic & Shallot
Comic

Adapted from the classic Indonesian folktale Bawang Putih & Bawang Merah, this comic was developed to introduce the story to a modern audience. The tale, which contrasts kindness and selfishness through characters named Garlic and Shallot, is reimagined with whimsical, anthropomorphized produce to engage children while preserving its moral lesson. The use of soft colors and expressive designs kept the tone lighthearted, while the font complements the playful visuals to ensure consistency between art and text, creating a warm, familiar tone that resonates with young readers.

tinyday.creations
Brand Campaign & Product Design

A personal wellness brand, focused on making mental health care accessible and sustainable from home. Its interactive yearly journal, designed with guided prompts, trackers, and templates, helps users build healthy habits, reflect on growth, and manage well-being flexibly. To support the brand, a cohesive digital presence and multi-platform marketing strategy was developed, creating Instagram content, a video trailer, and posters that communicate the brand’s values and connect with a young, wellness-focused audience.
